the other thing that kind of bugs be about elementary is that cbs approached the producers of bbc sherlock and asked if they could make an american adaptation of the show.

I really do wish that the creators of Elementary had made both Holmes and Watson female. Believe me, I’m trying not to write the show off as bad before I see it, but it honestly seems like making Watson female is just setting the show up to be another typical show about two people in a relationship.
